The Art Club and high school art classes were asked to paint the community little free pantry boxes created by West Greene's agricultural mechanics program. The boxes will be placed at various locations inside the West Greene School District. The students designed the seven different boxes and spent all day Tuesday, May 21 painting the boxes. Here are the final products.

The 7th Grade is working on a recycle art project where they turn plastic shopping bags into usable products. Here are some work -in-progress shots. If anyone would like to donate clean, dry, and used shopping bags, please feel free to drop them off in the high school office. We had two students place in the 2019 Greene County Law Day Art Competition. Madison Gray took 1st place in the 6th -8th Grade Division and Ella Scott took 2nd Place in the same division. Students from West Greene, Carmichaels, and Central Greene participated in the competition. Students were judged on their artwork, how well their artwork fit the theme of "Free Speech, Free Press, Free Society", and a submitted essay describing how their piece represented the theme. 1st Place - Madison Gray 2nd Place - Ella Scott Other Student Entries
